Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage on Travel With Kong. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can support essential functions, remember a choice or, when optional services are enabled, help measure website use and advertising.

Current website functions

Travel With Kong runs on WordPress. Login and security functions may use cookies, and the CookieAdmin consent tool remembers cookie preferences. Where the comment form offers the option, you can choose to save your name, email and website in your browser for a future comment.

The contact form sends an enquiry to our private inbox. It does not make the message or email address public. We do not currently operate a newsletter or sell products directly through this website.

Analytics and advertising: not currently active

Google Analytics and Google AdSense are planned features but are not active on this website as of the date above. The relevant policy information and consent controls will need to be updated before those services are switched on. This policy does not itself activate them or record your consent.

Affiliate links and external content

Some pages include affiliate links to retailers. Following a link takes you to the retailer or affiliate provider, which may use cookies to recognise the referral under its own policies. These links are identified on the relevant pages.

YouTube and Instagram links also take you to external services. If third-party media is embedded on a page, its provider may process information when it loads or when you interact with it. Our current travel articles link out to their videos instead of automatically loading video players.

Manage your preferences

Use the cookie-consent banner or the floating re-consent control to review the choices available on this site. You can also use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies. Deleting cookies may remove stored preferences, so you may see the consent banner again. Blocking essential cookies can affect functions such as signing in.

You do not need to accept optional cookies simply to read our travel articles. Before Analytics or AdSense is introduced, their consent configuration will need to be checked separately.
