I’m Kong, the creator behind Travel With Kong on YouTube. I film travel vlogs and share my first impressions of the places I visit—the moments that go well, the surprises and the days that do not quite go to plan.
This website is the written companion to those journeys. It is a place for the details that are easier to come back to in an article: what an experience felt like, what I would do differently and what might help you decide whether it suits your own trip.
Real trips, not a perfect itinerary
My Vietnam stories include a sleeper-bus journey from Hanoi to Hue, an unexpectedly physical climb at Marble Mountains and a day comparing two very different stops in Da Nang. I am interested in the story of a day, not only a list of places to tick off.
I also share short clips on social platforms and keep learning how to make the videos more engaging without losing that personal, first-hand feeling.
